Wow. I just went through every single one of my drawers, closets, box of clothes and have 6 garbage bags of stuff to give away or to go to the second hand store. It's insane how many sizes and seasons are contained in those bags!
I figure if I haven't worn it in the past two years, it's gone. And if I don't remember when I bought it, it was too long ago, and it's now gone.
It feels SO good.
Next... shoes.

Aaah, I really should do that too! Getting rid of old stuff is so liberating, isn't it? I tend to hold on to things I might need/wear/use again, but they just kind of rot away and clog up space... So yeah, decluttering is definitely one of the next things I tackle, once all the assignements are handed in.
Have a great week!
PS: I'm sorry that I don't leave comments all that often anymore... I'm always reading though and I enjoy your blog immensly. Your boy is adorable and it's so good to see you're so happy being a mum! Reading your blog makes me feel a tad clucky... :)
Spring cleaning is SO therapeutic! And now you just found a whole ton of space for new clothes!:-)
Those pics you posted of Carson the other day are ADORABLE. He's so freakin' cute - especially the one of him in the laundry basket. Love it!
I had a teary mommy moment yesterday...a friend of mine was over with her daugther (2 months older than Raiya). We went to take a picture of the two of them on the couch, and just as I was about to snap the button, they grabbed each other's hands, and linked arms. And the wouldn't let go! Sigh.
Thanks alea :) I keep checking for updates on your blog ! I feel AWESOME when I looked at my closet today knowing all the clothes in there are something I can wear (or at least after a couple baby lbs are gone)
Sonya - god I have probably one of those moments a day! How frigging cute that they linked arms! Now, where is the picture ;)
Just this morning I was changing his diaper and Jeff looked at him and said - I bet we are going to blink our eyes and he will be a year old. He's already 3 and a half months old - where does the time go?
