Tonight Jeff and I are heading out with Julie, Tim, Kate, LJ, Kaethe and Peter to dually celebrate LJ and Jeff's birthdays. My mom is babysitting and it's the first time that Jeff and I going out without Carson! It will only be for a few hours, but it's going to be weird. I know we will enjoy it but I'll miss him at the same time.
I know it's still only 8am but I'm getting things ready for when my mom comes over and I was lying out his pyjamas that he'll wear to bed tonight and I can remember Carrie putting Ethan and Isabelle's pjs on the bed for me when I would babysit. It's funny how something so little will really make me sit up and say - holy shit. I'm a mom.

- I'm a mom to two adorable boys: Carson and Beckett. I started this blog as a journal to keep track of Carson during his first year. One year turned into two years, and now we are in year three. And then along came Beckett so this will be about my TWO sweet little boys - the brothers. I plan on turning this into a book as a keepsake. Time flies so fast and it's so easy to forget when they first flipped over, when they got their first tooth, the sleepless nights etc.... this is my way of remembering.
