Carson currently looks like this:
The only other time I've ever woken Carson up is for our flight to Florida. I follow the old-age rule to never wake a sleeping baby! I suppose I can ask Stella to start in the basement, until he wakes up.

What's the harm in waking him? Especailly after 2.5 hours. If it was only an hour, yay, but 2.5 is a pretty solid nap!
And heck, its just once right?
Hee hee - I had the same dilemma this morning. We registered for a baby food workshop, and it was time to go...Raiya was really sound asleep - thumb in mouth, and all.
I had to wake her...but did it gently.;-)
I found the workshop to be good, BTW - if you're making your own food, e-mail me and i can give you the low-down on what i learned...
p.s. Carson looks adorable in his sleep.
For the record, it's apparently very good for a baby to sleep on his/her tummy - apparently, it promotes healthy spine development. This came from a chiropractor with a 6-month old baby. She said that it's taboo, but it's very good for the baby. You're doing great.;-)
I've just always been a firm believer in never wake a sleeping baby. Sleep begets sleep - and it's so true with Carson, the more he sleeps - the more he sleeps! I ended up not having to wake him, he woke up seconds after I posted this. I told you - the magical blog!
Sonya - awesome, I'm going to e-mail you because I'm super interested! I make his food so far, and I'd like to keep doing it.
Heheh - good to know him sleeping on his stomach is good for something!
Hey, that's good timing!
I'm glad it worked out for you. 8)
